Question of the week:
What are four kinds of things libraries are doing with Facebook?

Libraries are using Facebook to post Library news, announce new arrivals, give book reviews, and announce special programs. Facebook is a great free advertisement site and another way to promote your library.  

About Me

I am Jackie Aspelin.  I currently serve as the school and public Librarian for Sully Area Library.  I also teach 7th/8th grade reading, 5th and 6th grade Research skills, and am the Football Cheer Coach for the ABO School District.  I was born and raised in Coon Rapids, Mn.  I went to college at Minnesota State University Mankato.  I married and moved to SD in 1994.  We moved to Onida in 1997.  We have two children.  We own and operate a meat processing plant called Brock's Butcher Block.  We also make Okobojo Bloody Mary Mix.  I enjoy riding my motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and traveling with my family.  I also collect rubber duckies!
